The developer reworked plans and introduced RZ24-0538 earlier this year requesting 57 single family homes plus a 22,000sf Medical Center to include a Free Standing Emergency Room (FSER) both which fall under current zoning guidelines and do not require the density bonus. The property is already zoned Commercial due to the Golf Range…
Although the Planning Commission found the request inconsistent, both the Zone Hearing Master and BOCC board found the request approvable 7-0…
FYI - Just because the rezoning was approved, that does not mean the Golf Range will be closing anytime soon and should continue to operate on a regular basis until the developer is ready to move forward with their plans…
