“The replacement Brandon Public Library will be located at the northeast corner of West Lumsden Road and Woodview Drive. The existing Brandon Public Library was built in 1990 and can no longer accommodate the full array of library services requested by customers.
The County plans to replace it with a new single-floor, 25,000-square-foot state-of-the-art library with additional amenities and resources to serve the community's needs and ample parking.
The architectural design of the building is neoclassical, with classical columns, decorative cornices, decorative window casings, a dome, and brick finishes.
