Stearns Road aka “Valrico Junction” hits Multiple snags - Withdrawn then Resubmitted

Valrico - The new Owners of the parcel on the corner of Stearns Rd and Lithia Pinecrest Rd were (and still are) proposing to build a Dental Office and Drive-thru Donut Shop on the vacant strip of land…RZ23-0618

With the previous submission, there were: Wetland issues that had to be compensated for, Setback issues, Drive-thrus not being allowed w/i 200ft of homes issues, Right of Way issues, Shoulder Width Issues, No Sidewalk issues, Entrance/Exit Issues…but the applicant kept requesting design exceptions, waivers & variances until Feb 22 when they threw in the towel on that request and formally Withdrew…but then resubmitted RZ24-0591 about a month later adding sidewalks and eliminating the Stearns Rd access point…

I’d expect another yellow rezoning sign to be posted sometime down the road…they didn’t buy it for the lumber or the scenery…
