Fishhawk to get it’s 1st Domino’s?!

Fishhawk - Had to check 3 or more times before posting that headline, but apparently Domino’s Pizza has never had a Fishhawk location? It will be located at 5646 Circa Fishhawk Blvd in the new plaza next to Woof Gang Bakery

I was under the impression that every established town came with one of these, but apparently Fishhawk, Gibsonton, & Ruskin have been missing out all these years…I’ll leave it up to you as to what they have been missing out on…just joking…

Full Disclosure - I contributed heavy to both the success and demise of my local Domino’s in the 80’s when they advertised “30 minutes or less or your pizza is free” that was discontinued in the early 1990s because of “an increase in the number of delivery drivers speeding and reckless driving to beat the time limit, getting into fatal car accidents or being pulled over by the police - and also probable profit losses due to customers taking advantage over the "or it's free" part”…

Living on the 6th floor of a dorm room with dozens of other students ordering pie seconds apart, getting everyone we could find in the building to clog elevators and stairwells 20-25 minutes later, then making sure whoever got their pizzas within 30 took as long as humanly possible to pay (counting change takes longer than you’d think) gave many of us better than a 50/50 chance for a freebie…we ate Domino’s breakfast, lunch, and dinner…it was a well-coordinated attack.

Please support your local shops and restaurants…FWIW, I still enjoy Domino’s to this day, but they seemed to taste a little better when they were free for some reason…
